Russian natural gas supplies to Turkey via the Blue Stream pipeline have nearly doubled because of a pipeline explosion in Iran, Gazprom spokesman Sergei Kupriyanov said Aug. 26, RIA Novosti reported. Gazprom is now sending 37 million cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey per day, Kupriyanov said.
