Hi,

i have been reading the developments for a few days about the 'ground zero' mosque to be built near the place once known as twin towers, however, what is interesting is how the americans- i know not all ,but general- perceive and interpret this 'idea' already endorsed by the mayor of the ny city ,even by Mr. Nobel prize. According to them, to build a mosque is like to erect a nazi sign near a sinagog, moreover, some see Islam as a 'cult' by calling the all muslims 'terrorists', which i know is not logical when thinking the count of the muslims.

so some think USA is a democratic country , but after reading what has so far been written about Islam or A mosque, i do not think USA is as democratic as some think.


i know it is not directlt about Turkey and its policies, but thinking some reports by USA itself, i start thinking doubl standarts of USA or The west. As you know The same country reveals some reports on Global Human rights except itself!

The USA is democratic alright. The political system it uses is. But it's the people, American people, who quite aren't.

American media has been in the hands of the Jewish/Israeli businessmen for a long time now, and what the American people hear about the world is basically decided by 10 or 20 people with agendas and interest groups.

On top of that, Christian Conservatives, who are already butt-buddies (somehow) with the Jews often enjoy doing their own anti-Islamic propaganda. There are pastors in the US who appear on TV and call the Muslims outright evil and Islam a religion of Satan. True story.

So, how do you expect the mostly ignorant American people to react? Of course they'll try and resist. But what can you do? That is the result of a decade old cold-hard anti-Islamic 9/11 propaganda and the harsh reality of politics.

By the way, I still don't get it why people call it "The Ground Zero Mosque" if it's not right at ground zero but only near it in the same neighborhood. I think that is also part of their propaganda and shoul be refrained from.

yes, it is the media leading people, but the same people have brains, so what appals me is the ideas of those people with brains, i repeat some people could be just regular people, but what about the logical ones?

america is a prime example of religious freedom, and i respect for that, but the americans need to come out of their narrow thinking...

what actually is a fact is, american crusaders fear that, building a mosque in the heart of new york the world financial capital is to attract many converts, and americans gonna learn the reality that what islam actually is, and maybe they start converting....

there a saying in quran when the truth arrives the false vanishes and is conquered, so americans for the exact thing, they fear the islam...

we know who gained through 9/11, it wasnt even by ,uslims, a self inflicted injury, just to show the world the bad image of islam.. i just fear these american fundamentalists are the actual cause of real religious intolerance... muslims have always respected jesus christ more than christians and jews ever can!!!
