In light of the latest developments, is the U.S. getting ready to partner up with Israel for a military operation against Iran's nuclear facilities?

Its not gonna happen.
It would be the end of alot of countries in th ME.

Why? Who will support Iran? Syria?

Its not about support,accidents can happen they could bomb all the oil fields in the Arabian peninsula then what?
Israeli targets in in the world would be hit by,al caida,hezbollah,hamas.
Freedom fighters from all over the muslim world would come to support Iran.
If just one Arab country would get involved,they all would try to hit Israel.
You think you can hold of evry rocket aimed at Israel?
Just look at it in a realistic way,Iran would be sent back decades but Israel to.
You think after hitting Iran,Israelis would be safe anywhere around the world?
They will not stop till there is no more Israel.
China would send weapons,Pakistan would send fighters as would Bangladesh,the chechens,Indonesia(all unofficial).
Even the homeland of your PM and FM would help Iran(Russia).
Just like they do in Syria.
Then you would wish you hadnt lost Turkey as a friend.

If 10% of 100 bombs would hit their target in Israel,what would it mean to the people of Israel?
The people,not the millitary or the gouvernment.
What effect would that have?
Psychological effect?
All those suicide killers?
You compare Iran to Hezbollah or Hamas?

We fought against Egypt, Syria and another arab countries alone. And never afraid from anybody.
Because we don't want Holocaust again. We know what does it mean to survive.

Nobody here wants a war, we know the horrible price of such wars.
But if somebody wants to erase you from the map, strike first.
Unfortunately we have history of non activity, it's Yom Kipur war 1973.

Iran even not close to Egypt with Syria against Israel in 1973 and we won.

It's not the first war of Arab countries against Israel.
And I never saw arab's solidarity, suppose shiites hate sunnites more than jews.
As I know many arab countries would be very pleased, if Israel will strike Iran
and suppose Turkey one of them.

I think same as GK7 here sunni's would not cry over Iran specially now with all the atrocities committed on sunni population in Syria. But it's more then sure that China and Russia would want to involve themselves indirectly. As for Arab countries they hate Iran's meddling in their peninsula and recent support that was providing to the Shiite population there, they don't want Iran to boss over them so would be glad if Iran is slapped actually.

Attack on Iran would determine the major players of next 20 years (if it lasts more then 2-3 months) so all that want to have a bid in this would want to position themselves right in this conflict.

My opinion is that Turkey is looking at this in short terms, so they want attack on Iran to be avoided as much as possible, Turkey imports large part of it's energy resources from Iran and would be put into position to choose sides, attack will have severe disturbances in the oil price and on economy of Turkey which is heavily dependent on those prices, Turkish exports to the region will be affected as well so definitely it's not good for Turkey in short run.

Second,its not 1973 the arab countries have better weapons now
Personally i would be happy if war would break out.
The only problem is that many innocent people will die from all sides.
Is it worth it?i dont know.

Its not Iran that wants to erase Israel,its the arab countries.
You will see who the real enemy is.

And you suppose we have not better weapons than in 1973?
The difference between quality of our weapons and arab's significant bigger than in 1973.

If this war would not happen I'll be very happy.
But probably as always we have not choice,
read history, Israel attacked Iraq's nuclear center and only after years many of countries understood that it was correct.
Same history with Syria, intresting how was reaction of world if Syria had nuclear weapon.
May be it was second North Korea.
